The Secret Military History of Monsanto: Francis Richard Conolly
Interview by Alexis Baden-Mayer
In this edition of The Secret Military History of Monsanto, Alexis Baden-Mayer talks with Francis Richard Conolly, author of Everything Is a Rich Man’s Trick. When Monsanto merged with Bayer, it attached itself to the company’s Nazi roots in the I.G. Farben conglomerate that supplied Hitler’s military with all the metals, fuels and oils the war machine needed. In Everything Is a Rich Man’s Trick,
Francis Richard Conolly exposes the fact that I.G. Farben had the backing of rich Americans who found it profitable to invest in both sides of the conflict. To name just one example, I.G. Farben was in business with Rockefeller’s Standard Oil at Auschwitz supplying the Zyklon B used in its gas chambers.
